The joy of the Lord is a natural feeling of great pleasure or happiness from the works of the Lord.
The works of the Lord are known when we meditate the word of God, we will know how great he is and his love for us, what are all great things he did for us, what greater plans and promises he has in store for us? It gives us hope and greater joy.
This promise was delivered to Israelite’s when they were caused to read and understand the law of God, especially during the phase of devastation and weakened by all insecurities. It could be anything where we need his strength this morning like spiritual growth, relationship, job, immigration, pains, and trials etc. The strength we need is found in the essential joy of the Lord.
Lord! I love you. I praise you and exalt you. Help me to meditate your word and experience the Joy from you every day and show your love to others. In Jesus name. Amen!
