You may have heard someone say – “I gave my heart to Jesus.” It is true that when we ask God for forgiveness of sins with a repentant heart, we are giving our heart to Him so that He would take care of our life here and for eternity.

Solomon asked God to give him an understanding heart to discern between good and evil (1 Kings 3:5).The LORD was pleased with his request and gave him more than he asked and could imagine (1 Kings 3:10-13).
