I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
After instructing His twelve disciples about their ministry, these were Jesus’ last words before He was to be crucified. In the world around us there are times when we may feel overwhelmed because of the incidents happening around us. After all the terrible disasters, wars and terrorist’s threats etc happening around us make us to wonder what is happening around us. Even if you consider the recent high school shooting, innocent lives were taken in the name of hatred.
If all of these events cause you to feel overwhelmed, and the tribulation in this world is weighing heavily on your mind, remember that God is always with you, and these events are unfolding as prophesied Also remember that our Savior Jesus Christ said “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. ” John 14:1
For when we put all of our trust in Jesus’ hands, we will find peace for For he himself is our peace ( Ephesians 2:14 )
Let us march into March knowing very well that He is our Prince of Peace.
