Leviticus 26th chapter begins with Covenant blessings that God has promised to the people of Israel.
But to inherit the blessings the commandments that are to be kept are:
1. Must not make any idols
2. Must keep the sabbaths and respect the sanctuary
Resulting blessings are:
1. Peace in the Land
2. None will frighten you when you lie down
These Blessings are also applicable for today's believers. Single / multiple idols which we secretly worship can be an obstacle for Peace of God to reign in us. Idol need not be just a physical object but anything that we subtly or secretly worship more than God. Revelation from God can break open the idol prevailing in us. Pray and ask God to reveal it to you. Repent and never turn back.
And also to keep the sabbaths (Sundays) and respect the House of God.
May He give Peace in the land.
