This portion of Revelation talks about the triumphal return of Christ to establish His kingdom on the earth in power and great glory. Jesus is coming to rescue His people and judge the wicked and will literally reign on this earth as King. Even before that time, He comes to rule in the heart of every believer.
Salvation is just the beginning of all the blessings the Lord has in store for us. Only in submission and obedience to Christ’s authority will we be transformed into His image and live a life worthy of His rewards. Lord, may Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth and in our hearts, as we submit to Your authority. In Jesus name. Amen!
