Zion Calendar Verse – May 03, 2018
“I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good.” Jer. 32:40
GOD is promising a new and everlasting covenant to Israelites in this verse.
This everlasting covenant is the covenant of grace we have received through Jesus Christ. Christ sealed this covenant with his blood. He purchased your perseverance if you are in Jesus Christ*through faith.
As children of GOD, we can not imagine the consequences that come when GOD turns away from us. With this covenant, GOD is assuring the eternal security of his blood-bought children.
Our Living and Loving GOD: Thank you for the everlasting covenant that you have made unto us. Let your Holy Spirit work in us to preserve our faith and to receive your unmerited favor, everlasting grace, and mercies. Amen!
