Zion Calendar Verse – May 09, 2018
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" John 14:18
These are the words Jesus spoke to the disciples during the last supper.
Jesus Christ is assuring us that the ultimate comfort comes from HIM. But we prefer to have comfort that comes from the absence of discomfort.
GOD is promising us that he will come again and abide with us forever. The risen, living Jesus has come and sent us the Holy Spirit. If the spirit of the Christ is in us, we will not be left alone.
Loving Heavenly Father: Thank you for the great assurance and promise you have given unto us. Let your Holy Spirit be in us so that we will be encouraged and enjoy your presence in all the circumstances. Amen!
