Zion Calendar Verse – May 11, 2018
.. Work of the leading Spirit. "As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Rom. 8:14
Paul wrote these things to Romans to enjoy the privilege of "Sons of GOD".
Leading here does not mean guidance to determine the will of God for everyday decisions. "Led by the Spirit” indicates that the Holy Spirit is the primary element in Christian living.
The nature of the "Sons of God" is that the Spirit leads or influences them. Believers have this new identity(Sons of GOD) and status before God when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, they are no longer under the mastery of sin.
Dear Father: Help us to mean this verse in our Christian living. Let your Holy Spirit dwell in us, so that we may be joyful of the new identity in Christ. Amen!
