Apostle John emphasises on the importance of walking in the light. God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. Walking in the light means having constant fellowship with God. Also, it is imperative to have fellowship with believers. When we are in constant fellowship with believers and know their weaknesses, we are to deal with them in love, rather than being critical about them by judging them. We need to encourage each other in the Lord and share each other’s joys and burdens.
Prayer: Gracious Heavenly Father, teach us to love one another the way you have loved us. Help us not to be critical of our fellow brothers and sisters, but instead uplift them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
