The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper. Isa 54:17

Isaiah 54 is a chapter that is filled with an abundance of God’s promises enjoyed by the servants of God. God promises the children of Israel that they will no longer live in shame or disgrace but they will be secure from the weapons of destruction.

We are reminded that as believers, saved by Grace through faith in Lord Jesus Christ, are in a warfare with satan, not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places; meaning that this warfare is more on a spiritual realm than physical. Satan uses many weapons in his armory against us such as, spiritual pride, envy, jealousy, hatred, love of this world more than God, etc. to fight us in this warfare.

May our promise giving and promise keeping God fulfil this promise in our lives as we put on the full armor of God as in Eph 6:14-17.
