To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Psa 92:2
The subject of Psalm 92 is the Praise of God. Praise and worship is the joyful occupation of every believer who rests and trusts in the Lord wholeheartedly. Lam 3:23 says, the mercies of the Lord are new every morning. When we go to him every morning, he gives us his word for the day and he is faithful to fulfill his promise. When night comes, it is a time to reflect on the day that we spent and acknowledge the faithfulness of God in guiding us through the day.
Many a times we go to the Lord in the morning to ask his help throughout the day because we do not want to get into any trouble all through the day. But, when we are done with the day we are so fast to get into the comfort of our beds ignoring the acknowledgement of God’s faithfulness. We take excuse saying our spouses, children, friends and sometimes even ministry have made us busy and tired. Remember, if satan can’t make us bad, he will make us busy!!!
May we thank our Lord who alone is worthy of our praises, every morning for the mercies of the night and every night for the mercies of the day.
