The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Thy faithfulness…

Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Psa 36:5

Gods mercy is shown as the most important attribute of God in this psalm. When David says that His mercy extends to the heavens, he means that there are no limits to his mercy and steadfast love.

Secondly, His faithfulness refers to His word, because only He who gives us his promises can be thought of as faithful. His promises in Isa 1:18, Psa 103:12 can be counted as being faithfully kept by Him in all faithfulness, which has no limits.

Thirdly, Gods righteousness is always like the great mountains which are strong and unmoving.

Fourthly, His judgement’s are as deep as the oceans and are right always. He sees the bottom of every heart.

So, shall we thank our God everyday, along with David , for His mercy and steadfast love which are great, His faithfulness which is unlimited and reaches unto the clouds, for his righteousness which is strong and unmoving and for His judgement’s which are deep and just.
