After being born again, we need to take one step at a time and the Lord would show us the second step when we take the first step. This is where we get stuck. We want God to show us all the steps until heaven and then we would like to take the first step. God does not work that way. Remember “walk by faith and not by sight”.
At the same time God does not leave us alone to go and find the way ourselves. He will be continually guiding us with his eye. Now, what’s the secret there? How can we be guided by someone’s eyes? Or when can we be guided by someone eyes? Not sure?? We give directions to our children without even saying a word. Just by eye!!!! And the children who have been accustomed to look at the parents eyes and get instructions only will follow. No one around knows what’s happening.But the secret is in the eye contact between the parent and the child. The moment the eye contact is lost, the child cannot move.
This is also true with us and our heavenly father.
May we not lose the eye contact but get every direction from him.
