Ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. Leviticus 26:7
The Lord Says “ You shall not make idols for yourselves, for I am the LORD your GOD. If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them…I will give peace in the land, I will be among you and I will be your GOD and you shall be my people”.
If you obey the word of GOD, you will receive the power of GOD. GOD’s word is living and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword both protects us and also destroys our enemy. Obedience to GOD’s word brings blessings from the Lord. Disobedience brings destruction.
When we start following Christ and live according to his word, many may oppose and become our enemies. It could be our own self and old nature, people from own family and friends and their beliefs, situations challenging our testimony etc. whatever is your situation this morning, chase your enemy with the sword of the word of GOD. Jesus used this weapon. Battle is GOD’s. Victory is ours.
Lord! I praise you and exalt you. Thank you for being my GOD. Help me to listen to you and keep your commandments in every step of my life. Give me the power of your word to defeat the enemy and his strategies today. In Jesus name. Amen!
