The LORD says “ Be strong and courageous, Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your GOD who goes with you. He will not leave or forsake you.
Tough circumstances can erupt at any moment, from any direction. Every person needs large doses of both strength and courage, especially when preparing to tackle some critical challenge. GOD urged Joshua to act bravely. Joshua found the bulk of his courage through his close and growing relationship with GOD. The spirit of GOD lived in Joshua and so he was full of the spirit of wisdom.
Joshua himself became a man of encouragement. Joshua said to his men, don’t ever be afraid or discouraged, be strong and courageous for the LORD is going to do this to all your enemies.
Let us learn how to receive and give encouragement. You will find it’s contagious.
LORD! I love you. Thank you so much for leading and guiding us thus far. What can I give unto you? Be my LORD, Be my Strength, Be my victory over my enemies. Help me to get encouraged by your word and encourage others through your word. In Jesus mighty name. Amen!
