Thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not Isa 58:11
*We see in Gen 2:8 that “God planted a garden”*. Gardens are beautiful. I don’t think there would be anyone who says i don’t like colorful gardens! But, where does all the color come to the garden from? As long as it is well watered, the garden looks pleasant. If there is no water, it gets all dried up, stony and thorny wherein no one would be interested to come in or at least see it.
Air and sunlight are natural resources that are free. Though rain is also a natural resource and free except for monsoon season, all other time we have to water a garden. The Lord says, thou shalt be a watered garden and like a spring of water. The word of God is compare to water an a spring of water. As long as this spring is full, our garden (our heart, body and life) will be colorful and pleasant.
Also, the secret activity that goes on in a believer's life is the act of gardening by the Lord himself. He takes care to remove the stones, plows the soil, sows the seed, adds manure, waters it, keeps it and is delighted when it brings forth fruit. The Lord had done all the above during the past 11 months of 2018. *Have we yielded the fruit that he is waiting for*??
