…he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Heb 7:25
For the lawyers of this world, Law is a profession and they are not bothered about the actual situation of the people who come to them. As long as the client is able to pay their fee the lawyers would go to any extent to defend them even though their clients are guilty.
Jesus, who is our heavenly advocate is not like that. He understands our situation more than anyone else.
Also, our eternal Judge will not get sold or polluted as some of the worldly judges may.
The earthly advocates might turn the tables on the truth but the heavenly advocate won’t but our everlasting advocate only requires us to be honest and true to what we say to him. As long as you are on the truth's side, REJOICE – justice is on your side. If not, don’t even try to go to him coz he would turn it on you.
If we have to set some things right, we better do that and go to HIM. "Them that come unto him, he will in no wise cast out". That's HIS promise.
Beloved, satan is so cunning that he would set us up against our own dear ones. Will we fall into his trap? We have been meditating on the fall series. Do we want to apply what we hear to our lives? Otherwise, we would be deceiving ourselves.
We may even lose in the earthly courts and be punished falsely, but how bad would it be if we lose in the eternal court and bear the punishment forever? If we lose in that eternal court, it is only because of our negligence and stubbornness.
Let us surrender to our advocate completely and ask him to fight our cases today!
