The LORD thy God…will do thee good, and multiply thee – Deut. 30:5
“Hero” is the one who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. In movies, “heroes” portraying to be good for good and bad for bad (eye for an eye; tooth for a tooth). Are these heroes’ true heroes?
In my opinion, a true hero is the one, who doesn’t retaliate but saves all including bad people. These hero qualities can be seen in Jesus and He is my real Hero.
“my LORD is good to all” (Psalm 145:9)
“greater love is… to lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13)
“…for a joy set before him, He endured the cross despising the shame” (Heb 12:2)
“For Christ died for sins… a good man on behalf of sinners” (1 Pet 3:18)
As He is “good” and “saved” us, let us take this opportunity to “give” thanks and let us walk in His footsteps by doing “good” to others.
