"I will make all My goodness pass before thee" – Ex. 33:19
Moses asked two questions to God in Ex. 33, “show me your glory” (18) and “show me your way” (13). In response to that, God said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you” (19) and “My presence shall go with you” (14). In the same chapter, we can see that God has revealed a glimpse of His glory to Moses.
However, in the new testament, we see that God’s goodness revealed fully. God became flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ, and we saw His glory…full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ made “His goodness pass before us” by dying upon the cross and giving eternal life.
If you are not saved and sincerely looking for God, ask “God, reveal yourself”. As God is gracious, He will reveal to you as He revealed to Moses and others.
