The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

SPIRIT filled WORSHIP

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. Jn. 4:24

Let us understand the meaning of today’s verse.

God is Spirit – God is not a physical being and doesn’t restrict to one place, but He is everywhere. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool, where then is a house we could build for Him? His presence and eyes are everywhere, so we can offer worship from anywhere and anytime.

Those who worship Him – When we are born on this earth, we are born physically but dead spiritually. After accepting Jesus Christ, we are “born of the Spirit”. Those who are born of the Spirit only can worship Him in spirit.

Worship in spirit and truth –When Jesus was talking to Samaritan women, He was telling her not simply worship God by offering rituals (“externally”) but most importantly to worship in spirit (“internally”). Also, the truth centers on “who God is” and “what God has done” to us.

Have a SPIRIT filled and a TRUE worship day ahead.
