The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Lord, please help me get one more

“He hath cast out thine enemy” – Zeph. 3:15

“Lord, please help me get one more” was the continuous prayer of Desmond Doss at “Hacksaw Ridge” on the island of Okinawa. Doss was a devoted Christian, who worked as a medic in one of the deadliest battles of WW-II. By himself he knew that he couldn’t win the war, however, he fervently prayed 75 times. Every time he prayed, he was able to save 75 lives, one at a time by carrying wounded soldiers to a safe place.

During this Christmas season, have you ever prayed a similar prayer to bring “one more soul” to Christ? No doubt “enemy” is too strong but with much prayer, we can bring one by one. With our strength, we cannot cast out the “enemy”, but remember, apostle John said, “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Let us pray continually unto God to cast out our enemy.

Have a powerful PRAYER day ahead.
