“What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me?” – Psa. 116:12
In Psalm 116, let’s observe the benefits of God towards us. God ANSWERS when we CALL and His ear is always inclined towards us (1-2). God has DELIVERED our SOUL from DEATH, our EYES from TEARS and our FEET from FALLING (8). God always PRESERVES the humble and He is the one who always HELPS us (6).
As God ANSWERS, DELIVERS and PRESERVES, In Psalmist words, can we render anything to the Lord for “all” His loaded benefits? We can’t give anything back compared to what He has done, instead, let us offer the SACRIFICE OF THANKSGIVING (17) from the bottom of our heart as He is Gracious and righteous and merciful (5).
