Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. James. 4:8
It is well said that "Love" is greatest of all. In this context, "Draw Nigh" unto God is :

An expression of our deeper Love towards Him.

A deeper desire to know Him

To understand the situations as He would

To aspire for a Holy life

To spend time with Him, worship and Praise Him and allow Him to take control of all the aspects of Life.
Ultimately He reciprocates and draws nigh unto us. Wow. Imagine how would that be?
Neither through self efforts nor through religious acts can we draw nigh to Him but by His spirit alone.
May the Lord help us to step up into the new levels of our spiritual life.
