The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

The LORD is my Strength

The LORD is my strength and song…and I will exalt Him. Exodus 15:2

Exodus 14 records the historical miraculous event in the life of Israelites when Moses stretched out his hand over the sea – all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water their right and on their left.

The hearts that were troubled until then; The mouths that questioned God's decisions; The appetites that hungered for the Egyptian food of slavery; Is all of a sudden beholding one of the amazing wonders of the world. He inspired them with courage and strengthened their faith neither to be destroyed by the enemies nor to be drowned in the waters. He filled their mouths with a new song. Therefore Exodus 15th chapter begins with exaltation to the most high with a new song.

Through the work on the cross Christ has become our salvation and strength to do his will and work, to experience every grace, withstand corruptions, resist temptations, bear afflictions, and overcome every enemy.

May we worship this Christ who is our Strength and song.
