Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. Isaiah 40:31
During these end times satan the deceiver, like a prowling lion is devouring the 'believers hope' in the Lord. Let's examine the areas of our life where we are yielding to its deception, unable to hope in Him. Remember how a little child hopes in his parents!! Are we relying on the Lord the same way?
We grow weary and tired in the battles against our enemies and worries of life. Our strength is insufficient to face them. We cannot win them all by ourselves. We need his strength. The Lord has promised us that our hope in Him would result in renewing of our strength. The Lord renews our strength so much so that we mount up with wings as eagles. The main characteristic of an eagle is to soar against the wind and it always aims for high places. God will strengthen us so that our running and walking will not faint or grow weary. May the Lord help us to hope in Him at all circumstances.
