The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Redemption and Forgiveness

Ye thought evil…but God meant it unto good.  Genesis 50:20

Most loved son of his father, was given dreams of God’s plan for his life, hated by his brothers, was dragged away from his father, was sold, landed in a foreign land to a people of unknown language, though for a moment was honored yet was blamed and thrown into the prison, but God proved his presence and protection for him, was rewarded by Pharaoh.

This Joseph when encountered by his brothers could finally able to say to them, " ye thought of evil but God meant it unto good" without a trace of retaliation and provided them food.

The story of Joseph is one of the heroic redemption and forgiveness for a sinner by Jesus. Jesus is the object of His father’s special love, was mocked, was sold, was delivered up to the gentiles, embraced God’s purpose even though it brought him intense physical harm, gentiles are blessed through Him and embraced into the family of God, fed hungry people, ready to forgive and forget our trespasses and give us Eternal Life though our sins have crucified Him on the cross.

May we honor and worship this Lord forever.

Have a Blessed Day
