The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Can you wait?

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”  Psalms 27:14

Most difficult thing in this life is “to wait”. Waiting is not pleasing to human nature we all want to see results instantaneously. We all forget that everything has its own time, and every moment we spend waiting for something is precious, because if we don’t, we wouldn’t get the desired results. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and then read Ecclesiastes 3:11. It helps us to understand the reason to wait.

During the wait time we build our courage and faith. If you have ever done any type of gardening or saw people who plant seeds to have a wonderful garden. It doesn’t grow overnight it takes time to show the colors and even takes a little more time to bear fruits. During their waiting period, they still watch their plant grow and eventually, when the due time comes the beauty of all their hard work and patience will give the results they have expected. Similarly, God wants us to ask Him and He will listen to all our prayer, but He want us to build our faith and courage to work harder so we can enjoy the fruits at the due time. So, no matter what you do today start with prayer, do your best and wait for the return from God to bless you with what you have asked.
