The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Happy Easter. He is Risen!!

I am the resurrection and life. John 11:25
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life”! It’s one thing to make such a bold assertion; it’s another to back it up— Jesus did by rising from the dead. Here we see that Jesus says the fifth
 “ I AM" statement.
If you believe that Jesus came down to this world, died, buried and rose again, our future has a whole different meaning and hope which goes beyond this life. This belief in Jesus is the guarantee that will bring us out of the grave (even if we die) one day to live evermore. Because He lives, we will also live. One day will come when we will see all our loved ones who have gone ahead of us, we get to see the father of our faith (Abraham) and many heroes of faith and martyrs who sacrificed for the Lord. It will be in a place without sorrows, without fear, without death.
But we can also see another meaning. Since we have this life and the next, we don’t have to “have it all” now. We can live in broken and ruined bodies for a time; we can endure poverty and hardship for a while; we can face loneliness, heartache, and pain for a season. Why? There is a second birth—life in heaven forever. Do you have the second birth, if not, in Jesus you may have it this morning?  Have a wonderful Christ-centered Resurrection Sunday.
