Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
-Psalms 91:3
Today’s Verse:
The Psalmist describes how God protects and cares for His people, beginning with rescue from those who would trap God’s people as the fowler snares birds. This is possible only for believers. Generally, we, people, foolish and weak as poor little birds, and are very apt to be lured to our destruction by cunning foes, but if we dwell near to God, he will see to it that the most skillful deceiver shall not entrap us. God also protects his believers in times of dangerous diseases like cancer and AIDS.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for this beautiful morning you have created for us today. Thanks for giving the opportunity to worship today.
I praise you and give you all the Glory. Thanks for all the good things you have done in my life so far. You had protected me from many dangerous situations. You are my strength and my shield. Bless all my brothers and sisters while they are in work or in search of jobs or interview for a new job. Bless all God servants and their families. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
