Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Today’s Verse:
After many thousands of people gathered, Jesus tells his disciples not to worry or be anxious and Father would provide a place happily in his kingdom. Little flock is referenced in Ezekiel. 34:11-24 to remind that GOD is the good shepherd of the faithful.
We learn the following from today’s verse

We all are like sheep… , a helpless, very dependent and lacking direction

Jesus is our good shepherd.

We have a Father in God and we are part of a family

Our Father is good and generous and it makes him happy to give us His kingdom.
Good God is with us. He will take care of our needs (Philippians 4:6).
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thanks for this day. I know you hear me, Father, when I bring my concerns to you. You care about what is going on in my life, and I know you want to give me a clear, sound mind. Forgive me when I allow anxious thoughts to cloud my thinking. Help me to take my anxieties to you in every circumstance, believing you will intervene and work out your eternal purposes. Give me a thankful heart. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
