Today’s Verse:
The David praising the GOD that he filled his heart with happiness like a farmer’s joy when he gets successful harvest yield. When we know that the face of God shines favorably on us, it puts gladness in the heart. Though David was in distress, vexed by ungodly men all around he could still have gladness in his heart, because the LORD put it there. As it has been mentioned in Romans 15:13, keeping hope in the GOD, you would be filled with joy or gladness.
Christianity is a religion of gladness. You cannot have one Divine idea in you without being glad. You cannot have any Divine ideas so long as you are unpardoned. And when forgiveness has taken effect then joy begins.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for this holy day. And thanks for Your blessings on me for the entire past week. Your love flows like a stream into the ocean of your Grace. Your love encircles this world, displays your faithfulness. Your love is patient and kind, brings wholeness and true peace. Your love is all we desire to heal our brokenness. As all things pass and fade away love remains eternally. Bless all preachers all over the world and remain with them while they preach and deliver Your word. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
