The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Prayer Offered in Faith

“And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.” – James 5:15

Without Faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is believing that God will do what He said He would. Faith is always associated with an action. The prayer of faith is believing what God said, agreeing with what God said, declaring what God said, and acting on what God said. God responds to faith, not needs. By faith mountains move, storms give up and quit and demons flee. Prayer of faith sees the victory, it touches the hem of Christ’s garment. “The raising up” in the above verse is not necessarily physical – if it were, then no believer should ever die! Sometimes it is not the Lord's Will in that particular instance. The restoration of the sick one that guarantees as a result of the prayer includes emotional, spiritual restoration that comes in the form of God’s peace and comfort.

Elijah prayed earnestly that it would not rain, it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. And again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced the crops. Whereas when the Apostle Paul prayed three times to the Lord to remove the thorn from his flesh, God said, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. ‘The prayer of faith’ is the key for an answered prayer according to God’s will.
