Perfecting holiness is purifying ourselves

Perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1
Let’s read 2 Corinthians 6:16-18. God has given promises to the church at Corinth. Paul is exhorting the church, to receive all the promises they need to leave whatever is not pleasing in Gods sight and must strive to become perfectly holy. Paul is stating Perfecting holiness is purifying ourselves from the filth of the world.
God also gave us so many promises. Like the Corinthians, we try to claim all those promises but we forget to purify ourselves by leaving whatever is not pleasing in Gods sight. This morning lets us ask God to purify ourselves first and then seek Him for the promises to get fulfilled in our lives.
