The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Worship HIM

Psalms 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
“But as for me…” these words show that David was not like others (in verses 5 and 6). I.e., Consecrated or separated life. We were also once wicked and ungodly and God has changed us.
Because of His mercy, we are saved; we are redeemed by the ransom paid on the Cross. It’s His grace that has made us a peculiar treasure for Him.
And this is why David is not simply walking into the House of God, but recollecting all the mercies and goodness he recieved from God.
If you step into God’s house with a heart filled with gratitude for all that you recieved from God, you will worship God with fear and reverence due unto His Name and Majesty.
As mentiones in Psalm 100:4, “Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with Praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His Name.”
