Psalms 1:6 – For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
There are 2 sets of people in this verse:
1. Righteous
2. Ungodly
In this chapter, we see that the way of the righteous people is driven by the Word of God and the way of the ungodly is driven by the wind.
Let’s examine ourselves:
Are we driven by the word of God?
Do we confess the name of Christ?
Do we depart from iniquity?
If so, you will be called BLESSED, for the LORD knows your ways.
Are we driven by the wind of the world?
Are we sitting with the worldly people rather than godly people?
Are we standing up for people rather than standing for God?
If so, today’s verse clearly says that our ways will be perished.
Lord, you are our Righteous Father and you want us also to be righteous. Please lead us in the paths of righteous and deliver us from all evil for your name’s sake. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!
