The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

What is well pleasing in God’s sight.

Heb 13:21 – …working in you what is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ.

What is well pleasing in God’s sight?

When Jesus got baptized, God said “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”

And Isaiah 53:10 says “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;”

God did not spare His own Son on the cross to save us. That means, the work of our Salvation done by Jesus Christ is the most pleasing work of God.

Being Redeemed people and having experienced the most pleasing work of God, how are we carrying out the work of the Lord?

Are we trying to please men?

Or

Are we trying to please God?

The carnal works done in the flesh cannot be pleasing to God.

Col 3:23 says “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,”

Dear Lord, help us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, so that our works that we do according to God’s will through Christ Jesus, may be found pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus name, Amen!
