God who created us fearfully and wonderfully also hears us.
He hears our cries, our prayers, our complains, our praises, our thanksgiving, our angry responses, and our worship as well.
Bible says God hears our prayers:
– when we are righteous (1 Per 3:12)
– When we approach Him in right attitude (1 Sam 16:7)
– When we ask in faith without doubting. (James 1:6) Bible also says that God will not hear our prayers:
– when we regard sin in our hearts (Psa 66:18)
– When we turn away our ear from hearing the law (Prov 28:9)
– When we ask God according to our own selfish desires. (James 4:3)
2 Chr 7:14 says, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Dear Lord, help us to approach your throne with confidence, with a right heart and right attitude, aligning our desires to your will, and trusting in your timing for the answers, for you know what we need and what is best for us. In Jesus Name, Amen!
