Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love – Rom 12:10
Be kindly affectionate – denotes tender and indescribable affection, such as a mother shows to her child. The believers should have similar feelings towards each other as GOD shows kindness towards us.
Brotherly love – normally refers to the love between members of same family. Even though we are members of different families naturally, we are united in CHRIST and received the privilege to be called as one family with his great love.
Paul is saying that the relationships among believers must be kindly affectionate as GOD has given us the “new birth” and we all belong to “HIS family”.
