What does it mean to be faithful?
When we think of someone faithful, we get reminded of one friend who we always depend on. Everybody needs someone who will support you, come for you, and stand his ground defending you, someone who is trustworthy and loyal, reliable and constant.
Our human friends can be with us only till end of this life, but Jesus is a wonderful and faithful friend who gave His life for us and will be with us forever. I have experienced His faithfulness in my life, and I testify His loyalty and trustworthiness.
When we say GOD is faithful, it means He is totally trustworthy, He sacrificed His own son Jesus Christ to redeem us from the sin. The faithfulness of GOD is true and has been proven many times in all our lives.
We can experience His faithfulness when we spend time with the Lord in the prayer every morning for a new day, for making us call Him Abba Father! , for a happy family, good health etc. There are many many blessings which we just enjoy but never realize that it is all because of His faithfulness and His mercies towards us.
He is a promise giving God and Promise fulfilling GOD. GOD has given many promises to each one of us. All we have to do is Trust in His mighty power.
Phil 1:6 says He began the good work in you, and He will bring it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.
Let us lift up our hands and praise for all His promises to us and thank Him for His faithfulness and mercies in our lives.
Prayer: Father GOD! We love you! Thank you so much for your unfailing love and for being so faithful in my life. I could see your faithfulness in every step of my life. Thank you Lord. You go before me and be my rear guard. I commit this day into your hands.
