…report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you. Mark 5:19
When the man who had been possessed with demons begged Jesus that he might be with him, but Jesus did not permit to take him into his boat.
Sometimes, we want to go faraway places to proclaim gospel and minister like how the man wanted to follow Jesus by getting into the boat to the other side of the sea. But Jesus had a greater plan for this man to be a witness in his own town, to his own friends and family.
Likewise, God has the same plan for each one of us. We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We need to report God’s mercy and His mighty works, through our changed life to our friends & family, near and dear in our own area so they may be drawn to Jesus.
The change in us should be visible to everyone through our words and deeds and it should be sustained for God’s glory.
As a Christian, we need to avail every opportunity to preach gospel.
Father God! We love you. Thank you so much for your son Jesus Christ who is our redeemer. Help us to boldly report your mighty works and your mercies to our colleagues at work, near and dear, family & friends in our own small world for the extension of your kingdom. In Jesus name. Amen!
