The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Blessed are the righteous

The righteous will never be shaken, but the wicked will not dwell in the land – Prov. 10:30

As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one – Romans 3:10”; we learn from the word of God that our righteousness comes through faith (This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile – Romans 3:22)

In old testament, we see God rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man and destroyed the wicked or ungodly. In new testament, Righteous Cornelius and his family were miraculously saved by God – Act 10:22.  Whether old or new testament the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and he delivers them in the day of the trouble.

Disaster pursues sinners, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is passed to the righteous – Prov. 13:21-22

Prayer:  Thank you Lord for shedding your blood on cross and making me right with God. Please sanctify me and lead me in the way everlasting, In Jesus name I pray. Amen!!!
