Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine – Isaiah 43:1
Fear – Scripture records about two kinds of fear. The fear of the Lord leads to life, so that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil – Proverbs 19:23.The second type of fear is – Fear of man lays a snare, it’s a trap – Proverbs 29:25.
Redemption – Jesus paid a heavy price to redeem you from bondage of Sin. We have received eternal, not momentary redemption –Heb. 9:12. By one sacrifice, we have been perfected forever.
God is saying let your hearts not to be troubled or dismayed instead fix yours eyes upon Him. He gave himself as a ransom for everyone at the cross. When you go through deep waters, He will be with you and when you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown – Isaiah 43:2-3.
