Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. – Psa 100:4
When did you appreciate anyone last time? Quite often, we do not recognize the help of others in our lives. In our family prayer, I have been encouraging my children to recognize at least one help of each family member and give thanks to God on behalf of them. The Holy Bible encourages us to give thanks for all things and in all circumstances.
Psalm 100 indicates why we should appreciate God. It says, “God made us… we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture” (v. 3) and mainly “He is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations” (v. 5). As Jesus demonstrated God’s goodness, love, and faithfulness, let us enter His gates and December month with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
