Love suffers long and is kind… bears all things… (1 Cor 13:4-7)
The other day we were traveling in a sports car. It has good horsepower, the interior was premium, and it has all bells and whistles. When we were driving a long distance, the fuel was almost empty, and we were unsure if we can make it to a gas station or not. During that time, it made me realize that how much ever the expensive car it is, without gas it is nothing. Gas is an indispensable (absolute necessary) item to run a car.
Spiritually speaking, there is one indispensable item, that is LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13 says, even though you have many spiritual gifts if you do not have love, we are just a sounding piece of brass. As God is love and demonstrated His love on the cross, let us follow His footprints by showing patience, kindness and bearing one another by showing love towards one another.
