The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God with us

God shall be with thee (Ex. 18:19)

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways to turn away from sin and bad practices. However, they did not listen, understand and accept them. As people are not listening, God decided to come into this world to find and save us from our sins.

Another name of Jesus is "Immanuel", which means "God with us" and expresses the wonder of the incarnation, that God "became flesh and made his dwelling among us" (John 1:14). If the president of the United States comes to our home and stays with us, we will feel happy and secured. Imagine if God comes to your heart and stays with us, how much more secure we feel? As the Immanuel God is with us, let us not have “fear” in our hearts, instead, let us have a “joy” and “peace” knowing well that God will save you from all evil and danger.
