…ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (Jn. 15:7)
John 15 is a wonderful chapter where Jesus gave four elements of allegory.
The vine is the source of life and gives enough food for branches. The vine is Jesus Christ, Without Him we do not have our spiritual life.
The branches are Lord’s disciples and our total dependency is on Jesus, for He said, “without Me you can do nothing”.
The vinedresser is God, the father. He is the in-charge and cuts down dead branches and prunes branches to bear fruit.
The fruit – mechanical or electrical machines produce results but only living things can produce the fruit.
Now, Jesus is saying that “If you abide in me…, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”. Let us totally surrender to Jesus to get below progression in our life.
no fruit à fruit à more fruit à much fruit (John 15).
