The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Wordis fire and alive

…the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (Jn. 1:14)

A woman was sensitive and due to bad events in her life, she slowly stopped going to Church. One day she went to the pastor and shared that she is unable to have fellowship with God and people. The pastor took her to a coal furnace and took out the burning coal, after some time it stopped burning. The pastor explained that as long as the coal is in the furnace it’s burning otherwise it becomes cold, so is fellowship.

As humanity became cold and separated from God, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The Word is Jesus and because of Him, our fellowship with God was restored. The Word is fire (Jer. 23:29) and it is alive (Heb 4:12) which lets us burn as long as we are connected to the Word. Let us have a continued fellowship with the Word and Godly people so that we will keep burning and alive spiritually.
