The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Are you growing and producing fruit?

The end of a thing is better than its beginning… (Eccl. 7:8)

When a seed is planted, germination begins, and the seed changes the state of dormancy to a living plant. First, roots start grows, then the plant will eventually break through the soil, it eventually grows and become a tree and produces the fruit. Let’s say after the seed becomes a plant, if there is no growth, it is vulnerable for many attacks (rain, animals, sun, etc.) and eventually, it may die. If it becomes a big tree, it will sustain for all these attacks.

Similarly, when we are born again because of Jesus, we are born spiritually, and our spiritual growth starts from there. We need to constantly grow and produces the fruit. If there is no growth, we are vulnerable to all kinds of spiritual attacks and eventually, we will fall back. As today is the last day of the year, let us examine ourselves to see if our end is better than the beginning of the year and are producing constant fruit. If not, let us set right ourselves and look unto Jesus who is the author of our faith while entering another year in our lives.
