“…Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” Heb. 10:35
When Abraham was 75 years old, God promised him that he would become the father of many nations. Even though he had to wait for another 25 years for the promise to be fulfilled, he did not throw away his confidence in God.
What promise of God are you holding on to, today? The same God who fulfilled Abraham’s promise will fulfill yours at the right time. Put your trust in the God who is who He says He is, and who will do what He says He will do.
Let us confidently trust God and expectantly wait for His reward, for the pain that we experience now is nothing compared to the joy we will receive in heaven (Rom 8:18)!
