The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

"My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

Apostle Paul writes this verse after thanking Philippians for generously supporting him. Paul is thanking the Philippians for their sacrificial giving. They're a poor community, yet out of their poverty, they gave a financial gift to Paul as a spiritual investment. Paul tells the Philippians that their gift was not in vain. God will meet their needs, according to his riches in glory by Jesus Christ and they’ll be blessed if they participate in the ministry of the gospel. This promise is not for a material blessing. It’s a promise for a spiritual provision that transcends our circumstances.

The sovereign Lord is the great Provider. When Israel needed a leader, He raised Moses. When they needed water in the desert, He supplied it from a rock. When they needed food for their wilderness wandering, He gave it in the form of manna. We all needed a Savior for our sins, so God sent His only begotten Son to die on Calvary’s cross.
